การบรรยายได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองด้านการพัฒนาพื้นที่ริมน้ำของเมืองคาซาน และเปิดประเด็นเปรียบเทียบกับการพัฒนาคลองในกรุงเทพฯ โดยเน้นความสมดุลระหว่างระบบนิเวศ พื้นที่สาธารณะ การเติบโตของเมือง มรดกวัฒนธรรม และวิถีชีวิตของชุมชน นับเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และความร่วมมือเพื่ออนาคตที่ยั่งยืนของคลองและเมือง
2026 Kasetsart Architecture and Built environment International Lecture Series No.1
On 17 July 2026, the Faculty of Architecture, Kasetsart University, hosted a special lecture titled “Sustainable Development of Kazan Waterfront: Current State and Research Perspectives” by Associate Professor Dr. Maria Latypova from Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, Russia.
The lecture shared perspectives on Kazan’s waterfront development, followed by a fruitful discussion that opened comparative perspectives on Bangkok’s canals. The discussion focused on balancing ecological systems, public spaces, urban growth, cultural heritage, and community life. The forum marked a valuable starting point for knowledge exchange and future collaboration toward more sustainable canals, waterfronts, and cities.
