CALL FOR CREATIVE VISIONARIES

Can design heal a changing world?
Kasetsart Architecture and Built Environment is looking for 1-2 Thai + International designers, architects & specialist to design and lead our flagship introductory event. We are looking for teams with strong ideas, hands-on experience, and the ability to create meaningful spatial learning experiences beyond the classroom.
CHALLENGE: Propose a programme consisting of:
- 1/2-day public lecture or conversation session
- 2-day immersive workshop at Kasetsart University and surrounding neighborhoods
Your mission is to demonstrate how architecture, design, landscape, heritage, technology, and the built environment can actively contribute to Well-being and Regeneration in everyday life. We are not looking for a conventional lecture. We are looking for an engaging and memorable experience.
The programme should be:
- Interactive and participatory
- Spatial and site-responsive
- Hyper-local and community-aware
- Visually engaging and experimental
- Suitable for approximately 30 participants from diverse backgrounds
Possible formats may include:
Field explorations, mapping, installations, performative walks, making sessions, experimental studios, food and landscape experiences, environmental observation, tactical interventions, storytelling, collaborative design-build activities, or speculative futures workshops.
WHO CAN APPLY
We welcome applications from:
- Architecture and design studios
- Interdisciplinary collectives
- Emerging or established practitioners
- Artists and spatial researchers
- International collaborators
- Young creative professionals with workshop or teaching experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Experience in workshops, exhibitions, field-based learning, or public engagement
- A strong visual and conceptual portfolio
- Ability to facilitate activities with students and young participants
- Interest in Well-being, regeneration, sustainability, community, culture, or spatial experimentation
THE PACK:
Operational Budget: 80,000 THB (excludes specialist fee)
Location: Kasetsart University & surrounding neighborhoods, Bangkok
Target Audience: ~30 future changemakers
Date: Mid August (8-9 or 16-17 August, 2026)
