วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 8 มกราคม 2569 ผู้แทนสำนักงานเขตจตุจักรเข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนและให้ข้อเสนอแนะต่อโครงการพัฒนาคลองเปรม โดยต่อยอดจากความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาพื้นที่และชุมชนในเขตจตุจักรอย่างต่อเนื่อง

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการนำเสนอข้อเสนอเชิงแนวคิดระยะต้นของสตูดิโอออกแบบ ชั้นปีที่ 4 ซึ่งดำเนินการโดยนิสิตไทย 6 คน ร่วมกับนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยน 2 คนจาก École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux ก่อนพัฒนาไปสู่การออกแบบเชิงสถาปัตยกรรมและผังพื้นที่ในขั้นถัดไป ภายใต้หัวข้อ “การพัฒนาเมืองบนฐานระบบนิเวศน้ำ: ฟื้นฟูบึงฝรั่ง–คลองเปรม เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและชุมชนเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน” (Water-based Urban Regeneration: Revitalizing Bueng Farang and Khlong Prem to Enhance Urban Quality of Life and Community Well-being) ภายใต้การดูแลของ รศ.ดร.ปฏิพล ยอดสุรางค์ เป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา
พื้นที่ศึกษาอยู่ในแนวบึงฝรั่ง คลองเปรมประชากร และสวนเปรมประชาวนารักษ์ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ยุทธศาสตร์ด้านนิเวศน้ำและคุณภาพชีวิตของกรุงเทพมหานคร พื้นที่ดังกล่าวกำลังอยู่ในกระบวนการฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศ การจัดการน้ำท่วม การเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียว และการยกระดับชุมชนริมคลอง นิสิตศึกษากระบวนการพัฒนาเมืองบนฐานน้ำ การออกแบบภูมิทัศน์น้ำ และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานสาธารณะ ผ่านการสำรวจภาคสนาม การทำ mapping ระบบกายภาพ สังคม และเศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์คลองเปรมตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 จนถึงโครงการฟื้นฟูล่าสุดของกรุงเทพมหานคร
กระบวนการทำงานเริ่มจากการสำรวจพื้นที่จริง วิเคราะห์ศักยภาพและปัญหา ก่อนพัฒนาเป็นแนวคิดเชิงเมืองและผังแม่บทย่อยที่เชื่อมโยงพื้นที่น้ำ พื้นที่สาธารณะ ระบบทางเดิน ทางจักรยาน และจุดแทรกแซงทางสถาปัตยกรรม จากนั้นต่อยอดสู่การออกแบบอาคารสาธารณะหรือโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ตอบโจทย์ชุมชน คุณภาพชีวิตเมือง และความยั่งยืนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม
ผลลัพธ์ของสตูดิโอคือข้อเสนอการฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ริมน้ำตลอดแนวบึงฝรั่งและคลองเปรมประชากร ให้เชื่อมต่อกับสวนเปรมประชาวนารักษ์และชุมชนโดยรอบ พร้อมแนวคิดการพัฒนาเมืองที่เน้นระบบนิเวศน้ำ พื้นที่สาธารณะ และกิจกรรมชุมชน ตลอดจนต้นแบบโครงการสถาปัตยกรรมสาธารณะและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเมืองที่สนับสนุนการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืนในบริบทปัจจุบัน

On Thursday, 8 January 2026, representatives from the Chatuchak District Office joined an exchange session to provide comments and feedback on the Khlong Prem development project, building on ongoing collaboration in area-based and community development within Chatuchak District. The session formed part of an early-stage concept presentation of a design studio, conducted by six Thai students together with two exchange students from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux, prior to advancing toward detailed architectural and spatial design. The studio is titled “Water-based Urban Regeneration: Revitalizing Bueng Farang and Khlong Prem to Enhance Urban Quality of Life and Community Well-being,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Patiphol Yodsurang as Unit Master.
The study area covers Bueng Farang, Khlong Prem Prachakorn, and Prempracha Vanarak Park, which together form a strategic corridor for water ecology and urban quality of life in Bangkok. The area is currently undergoing restoration initiatives focused on ecological rehabilitation, flood management, expansion of green spaces, and the upgrading of canal-side communities. Students examine water-based urban regeneration, aquatic landscape design, and public infrastructure through on-site field surveys, physical–social–economic mapping, and the study of Khlong Prem’s historical development from its excavation during the reign of King Rama V to recent restoration projects led by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The working process begins with direct site investigation to identify spatial conditions, potentials, and challenges, followed by the development of urban concepts and sub-masterplans that integrate water bodies, public spaces, pedestrian and cycling networks, and architectural intervention points. These concepts are then translated into the design of public buildings or essential infrastructure that respond to community needs, improve urban quality of life, and support environmental sustainability.
The expected outcomes of the studio are design proposals that revitalize the waterfront along Bueng Farang and Khlong Prem Prachakorn, strengthen connections to Prempracha Vanarak Park and surrounding communities, and generate urban development concepts centered on water ecosystems, public spaces, and community activities. The studio also produces prototype public architecture projects and urban infrastructure interventions that contribute to sustainable, water-based urban development in the contemporary context.
