Call for Applications: Ayutthaya2025 – River x Heritage
20–30 August 2025 | Ayutthaya, Thailand
We are pleased to announce the opening of applications for Ayutthaya2025: River x Heritage, an international summer program held at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ayutthaya. Taking place from 20 to 30 August 2025, this intensive program invites participants who are passionate about cultural heritage, community engagement, and interdisciplinary learning.
Through a combination of academic dialogue, hands-on fieldwork, and local collaboration, participants will explore the riverine cultural landscape of Ayutthaya. The program is designed to bridge the past and present, offering a unique platform for critical reflection and practical engagement with heritage conservation.
Ayutthaya2025 has been shortlisted under the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Initiative and is currently under final review by UNESCO Field Offices.
Application Timeline:
Phase 1 (scholarships, fee waivers, credit transfer): open until 20 June 2025
Phase 2 (general applicants): open until 31 July 2025
