The “Living Waters” workshop proved to be a transformative experience, immersing participants in a comprehensive exploration of riverine ecosystems. Over the course of the weekend, attendees engaged in a diverse range of activities that provided both physical and intellectual challenges. From navigating motorized boats to experiencing the tranquility of man-powered paddling, every moment was meticulously designed to deepen our understanding of river ecosystems. The workshop extended beyond daylight hours, allowing us to witness the ecosystem’s dynamic nature from day till night. The culminating experience of immersing ourselves “into the waters” left an indelible mark, emphasizing the importance of firsthand experiences in environmental education.
