โครงการ Global Problem-Based Learning (gPBL) ได้เริ่มอย่างเป็นทางการที่กรุงโตเกียว โดยมี Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) เป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ และมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม ถึง
3 สิงหาคม 2568 รวมระยะเวลา 10 วัน โดยมุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติ การออกแบบ และการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมผ่านการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างนิสิต-นักศึกษาและอาจารย์จากหลากหลายสถาบัน
สองวันแรกของโครงการเริ่มต้นด้วยกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศ การบรรยาย และการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างมีชีวิตชีวา ณ วิทยาเขตโทโยสุของ SIT พร้อมทั้งการเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านเรือนพื้นถิ่น Nihon Minka-en ที่เมืองคาวาซากิ ซึ่งช่วยเปิดมุมมองด้านวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นให้แก่นักศึกษา ขอขอบคุณศาสตราจารย์อิคุโระ ชิมิซุ และอาจารย์ธารินทร์ ดรุณไพฑูรย์ สำหรับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น รวมทั้ง ผศ.ดร.ปฏิพล ยอดสุรางค์ (มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์) ผศ.ดร.วิทยา ดวงธิมา (มหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้) และรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.จิรันธนิน

The Global Problem-Based Learning (gPBL) program officially began in Tokyo, hosted by Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) in collaboration with Kasetsart University, Maejo University, and Chiang Mai University. Taking place from July 25 to August 3, 2025, this 10-day program brings together students and faculty to tackle real-world challenges through design, cultural exchange, and collaborative fieldwork.
The first two days featured orientation, lectures, and vibrant exchange at SIT Toyosu Campus, along with a visit to the traditional architecture museum Nihon Minka-en in Kawasaki. These activities provided students with cultural and academic grounding for the upcoming design process. Sincere thanks to Prof. Ikuro Shimizu and Tharin Darunaithorn for the warm welcome, and to Asst.Prof.Patiphol Yodsurang, Asst.Prof.Wittaya Duangthima, and Assoc. Prof. Chiranthanin Kitika for the inspiring sessions.
With upcoming visits to Kawagoe, the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, and hands-on design workshops, the program promises a rich learning experience centered on heritage, sustainability, and cross-cultural dialogue. Stay tuned for the journey ahead!
