The Faculty of Architecture, Kasetsart University is a renowned architectural school in Thailand’s prominent public university located in the Bangkok metropolitan.The architectural education at Kasetsart was originated in the Division of Construction Management within the Department of Civil Engineering. As a demand for professional architects expanded in response to rapid urban development in the country, the Bachelor of Architecture degree program and the Department of Architecture were officially established under the Faculty of Engineering in 1994.
After six years of full operation, the Department was ultimately promoted as an independent faculty in 2000. The Faculty presently offers five degree programs in an array of architectural studies in bachelor, master’s and doctoral levels through four academic divisions:
- Architecture : B.Arch-5 years, Ph.D. (Built Environment)- 3 years
- Building Technology : M.Arch- 2 years
- Landscape Architecture: B.LA- 5 years
- Urban and Environmental Planning : MUEP- 2 years
It currently accommodates over 370 undergraduate students and over 100 graduate students in its own 15,000 sq.m. learning facilities in the spacious Bangkhen Campus.
